    Dr. Darcy G. Schofill
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Schofill grew up in Birmingham and attended Birmingham-Southern College where she majored in Biology and French.  She then received her Masters in Reproductive Physiology with a minor in Cellular and Molecular Biosciences at Auburn University. After graduating from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, Dr. Schofill practiced in Phoenix, Arizona for a few years before returning to the Birmingham area.  She is excited to be a part of the CMBAC family.  She and her husband, D.J. live in Hoover with their daughter Madison and their Pyrenees/Lab mix.

    Dr. James Lowry
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Lowry graduated with honors from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. He has continued to develop a special appreciation for his role in enhancing the relationship between his patients and their families by providing complete care at all life stages. He has especially appreciated all aspects of surgery and the role of physical rehabilitation. He has a special interest in ultrasonography and the benefit this service provides for patients and their overall health. In addition, he has pursued additional training in ultrasonography and oral surgery. Dr. Lowry has had the privilege to serve through Christian Veterinary Missions in the remote part of southwest Ethiopia tending cattle and goat herds among the Bana tribe. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

    Originally from the Birmingham area, Dr. Lowry practiced veterinary medicine at an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in the middle Tennessee area. He and his wife, Nicole, look forward to returning to the Birmingham area with their three children (Emma, Lucy Kate, and Jacob). They have one Maine Coon cat, Boudreaux, who rules the house. While not at the office, Dr. Lowry enjoys spending time with family, involvement within his community of faith, all things Auburn (War Eagle!), and fitness.

    Dr. Allison Williams
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Williams is originally from Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular & Microbiology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.  She then attended the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Gators!) with a concentration in small animal medicine, ultrasound and surgery.   
    Upon graduation, Dr. Williams married her husband Ben and moved to Birmingham, AL in the summer of 2008.  She has three beautiful children; her son Finley (Fin), and two daughters, Sutton & Quinn.  She has a Doberman named Whale-Z and an English lab named Mojo.  She also enjoys the cuddles and snuggles from her 7 cats - Ro-Z, Yoda, MePuma, Sticky, Bird, Teddy and a munchkin named P-Nut.  
    Dr. Williams has been with Cahaba Mountain Brook Animal Clinic since 2015 and loves the staff and the clinic.  She is known for her excellence in medicine and surgery, treating clients like family and also telling the occasional Dad Joke.

    Elicia Hicks
    Licensed Veterinary Technician/Practice Manager

    Elicia grew up in Mobile, AL and relocated to Birmingham with her husband in February 2004. She received her Associates degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Faulkner State Community College in May 2001. She then went on to obtain her B.S. in Zoology/Pre-Vet from Auburn University in May 2003. After moving to Birmingham and working in veterinary medicine for a couple of years, she decided to pursue a license in Veterinary Technology which she obtained in 2007. She has been a part of the CMBAC team since February 2008 and has thoroughly enjoyed working here. 

    Elicia became our practice manager in 2020. She still keeps her tech skills and education up to date, even though she has taken on a much needed management roll.

    She now resides in Alabaster with her two children, one dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon.

    Hunter Parsons
    Technician Supervisor/Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Hunter is originally from Sylacauga, Al. She got married and moved to Pelham, Al in 2015. That is also the year she started working in the veterinary field. A couple of years later she decided to pursue an education in veterinary technology. She became a licensed veterinary technician in 2019. 

    Hunter has a passion for emergency medicine, critical care, and geriatric care. She joined our team at CMBAC in 2020 and stepped into the role of our Lead Veterinary Technician in 2021. She loves getting to take great care of our patients as well as advocate for her team.

    At home she has a five year old daughter, two cats, two beagles, a brindle mix, and a german shepherd. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her dogs and board games with friends and family.

    Sidney Garner
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Sidney grew up in Birmingham, Al.  She joined the CMBAC family in 2016 where she started working as a kennel technician.  Sidney is  a graduate of Jefferson State Community College and a  licensed veterinary technician. She takes a special interest in dentistry and oral health in our patients. She has two beautiful cats and one dog. In her free time she enjoys cooking, gardening, and taking her dog, Caiman, on hikes.

    Devin Young
    Veterinary Assistant

    Devin is from Oak Grove, Al. She worked for our sister company, Dog U, for 2 years before joining our team at CMBAC in February of 2021.

    She is starting in the veterinary technology program at Jefferson State Community College in August of 2021 with the hopes of obtaining her license in veterinary technology.

    Devin has a golden retriever named, Oakley and a tabby cat named, Weasley. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking and paddle boarding.

    Cameron Smith
    Veterinary Assistant

    Cameron is from Ft. Lauderdale, FL and currently resides in Cottondale, AL. He has been in the veterinary field for 10 years and been with CMBAC team since September 2021. His favorite part of the job is getting to work with all the animals and his favorite breed are greyhounds. 

    In his spare time he enjoys kayaking, swimming and being outdoors. He is currently enrolled at Jefferson State and on track to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

    Trinity Hutcherson
    Veterinary Assistant

    Trinity is from Hueytown, AL and has been with CMBAC since May 2021. She has always had a soft spot for animals and loves being able to be an advocate for them. She particularly enjoys emergency medicine and critical care. She likes to help keep spirits high and everyone around her laughing. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her two dogs Cleo and Milo.

  • Quincey White
    Veterinary Assistant

    Quincey has been with CMBAC since November 2021 where he started working in the kennel. He has been working with the medical staff as a vet assistant for over a year now and loves being able to learn and grow his skillset.  He has three dogs, a cat and a tortoise. Quincey loves getting to work with all the different dogs and loves to work with Cavaliers in particular. Outside of work he enjoys cooking, gardening and painting.
